Pre-owned home sales post gain in North Texas
According to the Dallas Morning News, (Oct. 7, 2008), “North Texas pre-owned home sales eked out a 2 percent gain in September – the first such increase in over a year.” Local analysts attribute the gain to fewer properties on the market right now, in both pre-owned homes and in new homes from builders. “The market is in better balance with a reasonable inventory and enough activity to keep prices from falling dramatically," says economist James Gaines.
